In support of

Timeless Routine

by George Harding-Rolls

Old people in China often partake in chen lian 晨练, or morning exercises, in squares, parks and temples across the country. Here they dance, exercise, socialise and drink tea to see in the new day. I love this photo of some chilled out elders doing Tai Qi outside a temple in Suzhou, because it shows a calmer, laid back side to China. It shows the value of making physical and mental wellbeing routine practice.
